So you see, it's an intimate and involved process the way we do it
with each customer, and many hours are spent in the design and delivery of each
MacGregor. We don't believe in "package" boats; every boat
is custom built to their needs only, and we work with
them to make sure that they are not buying unnecessary accessories. We don't
like to over-complicate things, and live by the laws of practicality. Keep it simple;
the less complex stuff is on a boat, the less that can go wrong with it (and it
costs less). That
goes for engine systems too, and we have a lot of thought on that subject as
well.
Anyway, enough
of all that. If you are considering owning a MacGregor powersailer, great; we
hope that you get one. You've probably checked out the factory web page by now (www.macgregor26.com), so there's no need to repeat everything on it here.
There are many reputable and experienced dealers for MacGregor, and you will
find them if you look hard enough (but don't procrastinate; these boats are hard
to get, and dealers can only get so many a year). However, if you are thinking of a California
purchase, whether it's tied to a vacation or you're living within
the area, we hope that you'll call or come by. We can then explain
everything to you in greater
detail (including a bunch of standard modifications that AYS has developed and
installs on these boats to make them even more user friendly, and they don't cost you a thing!)
You won't get more help, encouragement, or attention than we give you, for as
long as you own your boat, and we believe that you would be very pleased with
the environment that you would be dealing with. Arena Yacht Sales is a
full-service, 4,000 square foot facility located in beautiful Marin County,
